Well done yesterday, Hufflepuff. It was a brilliant game!
As for the tutoring sessions with the younger years, I think I'll sign up for Charms. It's my best subject and I think I can spare a bit of time in between homework, class, rehearsals for the play, volunteer time in the hospital wing, and socialising time. Thank Merlin I'm good at multitasking. Besides, I need something to take my mind off of

The ball was over a week ago, but I haven't spoken to Zachary since.
Is that how things usually happen? I can't recall anything like that happening in stories or the like. I know reality is a lot different, but that night was directly out of a fairytale. I suppose this is what it feels like after you wake up and the dream is over. What did that kiss mean? Was it nothing, seeing as I haven't heard from him since? Did I do something wrong?
I think I need to ask some people who might know more about this than I do.

Things are so brilliant right now! There are so many things going on, it's fabulous! Just take a look:
The date auction! I can tell already that the Choir Club is going to make a lot of money. Thanks again to all of the handsome boys of Hogwarts for stepping up to the plate and offering your services. Without you, it wouldn't be possible. I hope everybody has fun and that the dates on Saturday are successful!
The first Theatre Club performance! I was so shocked to be given the role of Hermia, I couldn't stop smiling all day. It's one of my favourite Shakespeare plays, so to be given such a major role was fantastic. I know that Rory will make a brilliant Lysander and I'm really looking forward to rehearsals! Speaking of, Rory? If you want to practice lines at any time, just let me know! It's going to be a great play to behold, I'm sure.
The masquerade ball! What a brilliant idea! The Confundus charm on the masks is quite ingenious and should make for a very entertaining evening. Plus, getting to wear a pretty dress and dance all night? There's nothing better, in my opinion. It's going to be so much fun, I can hardly wait!
Also there's the Theatre Club sleepover to look forward to, and Hogsmeade, and the Gryffindor Vs. Slytherin match this upcoming weekend! Honestly, Hogwarts! We're all so spoilt for choice lately, it's unbelievable! |

To everybody who sent me gifts and/or came to the amazing party hosted by the gorgeous Rose Weasley, thank you! I had the best time! It was such a brilliant birthday. I really couldn't have asked for more.
Also, to an anonymous person who sent a very generous gift - thank you so much. I don't know who you are or why you felt the need to lavish me with such luxury, but thank you all the same! If you feel like coming forward so I can thank you a bit more warmly, please don't hesitate to do so!

Someone sent me diamonds. Not fake ones either. Real diamonds. They're the most gorgeous earrings I've ever seen! Who on earth would buy me something like that?! There was no name on the card. It just said "To Miss Catchlove ~ Happy Birthday."
I'm sort of freaking out right now.

To all of those who got mentioned in the Hogwarts Hubbub and by the utterly tactless Sophia Harper; don't listen. I think everybody around here is wonderful and if these idiots horrid people feel the need to talk about you in such a way, their own lives are clearly not exciting enough.
Also, is it wrong that I've spent most of my free time today in the library? My mum says that I should be wandering the corridors and letting everybody know that it's my birthday, but I just don't really like the attention. It's much more cosy sat in the back of the library, just watching the world go by. I like the peace and quiet. If anybody does feel like coming over for a chat though, don't be shy! We'll have to whisper on account of us being in the library obviously, but I'd love to see a friendly face!

I saw what was written in that awful gossip rag. Are you okay? I don't think you need to worry, because nobody believes it anyway. You're a brilliant player and you have a lot of natural skill and talent. You would never need to do favours for Casey. Not that you would anyway, of course. You're better than that. Also, when Sophia said she didn't want to be friends with you. Be glad. She's an awful, awful person who doesn't deserve friends like you.
